Our carpets are produced by master weavers and under strict quality control by experienced managers. However, sometime slight or minor imperfection in the shape, pattern or colors is negligable due to nature of its work and finishing process it passes through which is 100% hand crafted which infact adds to the value and set it apart from machine made rugs. Nomadics and tribal carpets sometime have signifacant imperfection as they travel and move from one area to the others along with their looms and many time, procure and dye the wool at different times which is also called "Abrash". An "Abrash" adds more charm and charactristic to the handknotted/orientalcarpet and at the sametime, reflects the Nomadic way of life of the weavers.
We use high resolution digital camaras using the daylight environement which gives the closest possible colors to the original carpet.
All of our carpets go through an intense process of washing and cleaning. However, it is not unusual to notice a minor fluff in a handmade carpet which is the surplus wool tapped in the pile after the clipping process. This will gradually disappear after cleaning by vacuum cleaning couple of times.
